How do I sell something?

Select Sell something, add a few photos and the details, then select Publish listing. Your postcode stays private: buyers only see your area.

Step 1: Select Sell something at the top of the page (Sell on a phone).
Step 2: Select Choose photos (on a phone you can also Take a photo). Add up to 12; the first one is the cover. Then select Continue, as you will after each step.
Step 3: Add a title that says what it is, choose a category and add your price.
Step 4: Choose a Condition if the category asks for one. Allow offers? is set to Yes, so buyers can offer a different price; change it to No if you'd rather they didn't.
Step 5: Answer any questions about the item. Some categories have none, and then this step is skipped.
Step 6: Write a description and choose how it can be bought: Collection, Local delivery or both.
Step 7: Add your postcode. It's never shown: buyers only see your area and roughly how far away it is.
Step 8: Check the preview and select Publish listing. You'll see Your listing is live! with a link to share.

Tip
You can Save & exit at any time and carry on later from Pick up where you left off.

Descriptions can't include phone numbers, email addresses or links. Buyers message you through townsyville.
Tip
Sold it? Open it from My listings and select Mark sold, so buyers know it's gone.
